What is 2-Step Verification ? how it helps us to protect our gmail account

 2-Step Verification 

         2-step verification is process that involves two level security, when you signin to google you enter your password this first level security and second level is if you turn on 2-Step Verification then it sends you a security code to your mobile via text or voice call .So that if your password is stolen or hacked no one can enter in to your account so easily, you will be asked for the permission to signin to your account .What is prefer is to turn on 2-step verification process .It is also known as two factor authentication .

It is nothing but adding an extra layer of security to your account ,by this you can get an notification to your mobile if any one is trying to signin in to your account with out your permission they can't signin .

If you want to turn on 2-Step Verification ,follow the steps given below :

                         open your Google Account ,

                

 

                                 select security option 

now turn on 2-Step verification by following further steps.

by following above mentioned steps you can turn on 2-step verification ,not only google account but also to your youtube ,facebook accounts .
