Importance of Phosphorous :  Phosphorous is needed for the body to make protein for the growth, maintenance, and repair of cells and tissues,

The body uses the phosphorous to keep the bones strong and healthy ,Phosphorous also helps remove waste and repair damaged tissues.

Functions:

Phosphorous is the important structural component of bones, DNA and RNA.
Essential in energy transfer and Storage of energy in the form of ATP and other metabolic activities.
Phosphorous also maintains normal  blood pH.
 

Deficiency Disorders:

Deficiency of Phosphorous in our body causes :
 Loss of bone minerals ,
Cardiac and muscle disorder.

Foods to be consumed in case of deficiency of phosphorous are meats, dairy products, fish, beans nuts,etc.
